Unfortunately, Modular Mini Datacenter is far away from the commercial product at the moment. With the help of SNN and European Fonds for Regional Development we have been building a prototype where our ideas can be tested and perfected. There are a lot of datacenters around but they are all unsutable for hosting small, personal servers. We at RedMonkeys have therefore decided to try building a prototype of a completely new type datacenter and test our ideas. Throw away old rules book and start fresh, question old dogma’s and explore and test new ideas.

So far RedMonkeys was exclusively a consulting company. But technology developments in the past several years have brought us an exciting category of products: small personal servers. Evolved from NAS that we all know and use - these small servers could show their full strength only when deployed in an datacenter environment. We at RedMonkeys were confronted with the same problem and have not been able to find an good solution.
